Rocky Coast

This painting on watercolor paper reflects some time I spent in Exetor New Hampshire.  There seemed to be little to no land around the edges of the water, just lots of rocks.  Pretty rocks but yes, just rocks.  I knd of enhanced the painting with a few weeds and flowers and lots of trees to make it more midwestern.  But there were lots of rocks… everywhere.
